Ocean Quest France
Restoring the Mediterranean’s coral reefs, one fragment at a time.
Nestled along the Mediterranean coast, Ocean Quest France is a beacon of marine restoration in France and its overseas territories. Since its founding in 2017 by Sandrine Treyvaud, the organization has spearheaded efforts to rehabilitate and conserve coral ecosystems—especially the Mediterranean’s Cladocora caespitosa.
About Ocean Quest France
Founded by Sandrine Treyvaud, Ocean Quest France is part of the global Ocean Quest Global Network — a non-profit initiative dedicated to coral reef rehabilitation and community education.
Operating from Toulon, the organization trains volunteers, engages local communities, and promotes hands-on marine conservation across the Côte d’Azur.
Every restored coral fragment tells a story of resilience — not only of nature, but of the people who refuse to give up on it.
Our Impact
Since its creation, Ocean Quest France has:
Restored thousands of coral fragments along the Côte d’Azur.
Trained hundreds of divers, students and volunteers in sustainable coral restoration.
Built a growing network of local ambassadors protecting Mediterranean reefs.
Each restored reef is a living reminder that when science and community work together, recovery is possible.
